I study typically developing siblings of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). By examining within-group factors, I attempt to determine which siblings are more likely to experience outcomes such as involvement in volunteerism, caregiving responsibilities, and increased guilt. I study family factors as well as individual factors to develop a more complete picture of how siblings experience growing up with a brother or sister with IDD.
