Bush nominates Swain for NEH Board 1-7-2008President Bush has nominated Carol Swain, Professor of Political Science and Law, to serve a six year term on the Advisory Board for the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Swain is well known for her research and opinion writings on race and politics, affirmative action, and Immigration policy. Her most recent book is Debating Imigration, an edited volume published by Cambridge University Press in 2007. The appointment is subject to confirmation by the United States Senate.
