The Minor in Political Science

The department of Political Science offers three minors, in American Politics, Political Theory, and in World Politics. Each course of study consists of 18 hours (one introductory-level course and five upper-level courses) as detailed below.

To declare your minor in Political Science
Please come by the department office, Calhoun 301. You will need two minor declaration cards at that time. You will also have to declare which of the 3 areas you will be minoring in. Once your advisor has signed both of the Minor Declaration cards, leave one in Calhoun 301, take the other to the A&S Registrar's Office in Kirkland 311. If you have questions about this process or anything else related to declaring your major/minor, please do not hesitate to ask.
