WASHINGTON — John Kerry's campaign began airing two TV ads Wednesday that kick off a series of spots that aim to convince voters he's committed to a "stronger" nation. The ads offer a counterpoint to a frequent theme of President Bush's advertising: that the president is a "steady" leader. Not willing to cede any ground, President Bush's campaign unveiled an ad of its own that accuses Kerry of "doublespeak." That ad begins airing nationally tonight on cable TV networks... more
