TONYA MILLS, Administrative Assistant II., Office and Grants Manager
Tonya Mills obtained her B.A. in history from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She has an Associate’s Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass and is a certified paralegal. She worked in a Nashville law office and for the Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Department of Biostatistics before joining Political Science in spring 2005. Tonya is also a guitarist and singer-songwriter and performs in the Nashville and surrounding areas. She is an aspiring world traveler, and obsessed with historical buildings and artifacts, as well as her cat.

DARLENE DAVIDSON, Office Assistant IV, Assistant to the Director of Graduate Studies
Darlene Davidson attended Tennessee State University and has a Certificate from Mason School of Business in Nashville, Tennessee. She has over 24 years of development and administrative experience. Prior to joining Political Science, Darlene worked at Nashville General Hospital and Vanderbilt’s Alumni and Development Office. When not at work, Darlene custom makes jewelry from precious stones and sells her art locally and enjoys spending time with her family.

KIMBERLY BISHOP, Office Assistant III
Kimberly Bishop attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, and has an Associate’s degree from Nashville Tech. Prior to joining Political Science in May 2007, Kimberly worked for Gaylord Entertainment and Tennessee Teachers Credit Union. Kimberly enjoys working with people from a variety of cultures, and in her spare time spends time with her family and new puppy.

TOMMY WOMACK, Office Assistant III
Tommy Womack is a graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. When not working his part-time day job in Political Science, Tommy is a composer, singer, guitarist, recording artist, and author. He has had a long career as a solo artist, side man, and performer in such bands as Government Cheese, The Biz-quits, and, currently, the duo Daddy. His memoir, Cheese Chronicles: The True Story of a Rock 'n' Roll Band You've Never Heard Of was published in 1995. Tommy’s hobbies include the historical Jesus and classic-era New York Mafia Genealogy. Tommy is now in the office on Wednesdays only.
