Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs

Susan Hart is the associate vice chancellor for academic affairs. In this role, Susan serves as the chief financial officer for academic affairs and is responsible for the provost’s office of Finance and Administration. Additionally she plays a leadership role on issues related to budgets, financial planning, human resources, compliance, BOT affairs, and facilities/capital planning for the provost areas.

Hart, a CPA, joined Vanderbilt in 2004. Prior to that, she worked as an auditor/accountant for Ernst & Young, Disney and Kraft. She lives with her husband and two sons in Franklin, TN.
