PAVE
Providing Access to the Visual Environment

Project PAVE's goal is to provide comprehensive clinical low vision services to children ages 3-21 in local education agencies (LEAs) of Tennessee and the Tennessee School for the Blind. We prepare children for independent visual functioning, to the greatest extent possible, and document their steps toward visual independence. Project PAVE provides prescribed optical devices and instruction in their use to students, their teachers, and their families. PAVE staff disseminates information about Project PAVE at conferences and through written communications.
