  Student Achievement

Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) test scores were used as the summary measure of student achievement in our three-year study of the parental involvement process, as reported in Hoover-Dempsey and Sandler (2005). This is the standardized achievement battery used annually to examine student learning in Tennessee public schools. Information about the TCAP may be found at http://www.state.tn.us/education/assessment/tsachhome.shtml
