Study SkillsHigh intelligence doesn't guarantee academic success. In fact, many students do not learn effective study techniques because they are so bright. However, when students enter a competitive and challenging school such as Vanderbilt, they often find more intellectual hurdles than they anticipated, and they may begin to question their own abilities.
