Psychologists and other counselors are available at our Center if you need someone to talk with. They help with issues such as: depression, eating and body image, stress, grief, study/test-taking problems, academic major or career indecision, or anything else you want to speak with someone about.
Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are available to provide medication evaluations, consultation, medication management and crisis intervention.
An Alcohol and Drug Specialist is available for evaluations and counseling.
A Reading and Study Skills Specialist is available to help with time management, test-taking skills, reading skills and test anxiety reduction.
To make an appointment, just call 615322-2571 (2-2571 if on campus) and ask about the service your are interested in. Due to heavy volume, it could take a few weeks to get an initial appointment. If you feel that you are in an emergency situation, please tell the staff member when you call.
