Sexual Health
Sexual Health and Safety
At the Vanderbilt Psychological and Counseling Center (PCC), we recognize the importance of sexual health and safety in the lives of students and in the promotion of their overall health. Topics on sexual health are broad and can include:
- Sexuality and Sexual Identity
- Family Planning and Contraception
- Pregnancy
- Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
- STI and HIV Testing
- Sexual Drive
- Healthy Relationships
- Dating Violence
- Sexual Trauma and Assault
At the PCC, we create a safe and accepting environment to talk with a therapist and process your concerns and experiences with sex, dating, relationships, and sexual health. Additionally, programs at VU such as Let’s Talk About Sex, Project Safe, and other educational opportunities are available for you to explore.
