The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) assists all members of the University community with the submission of grant proposals for external support of research, creative, instructional, and service activities.
More specifically, OSP supports investigators who have or plan to apply for external funding and departmental administrators who assist these investigators with proposal preparation and award administration.
The goal of OSP is to deliver high quality services in an efficient and professional manner. We seek ways to improve the management complexities within the pre- and non-financial award cycle, while building relationships with the research community. Our mission is to continually improve VU’s overall technical and functional expertise in research administration.
PIVOT, a comprehensive, editorially maintained database of funding opportunities worth an estimated $33 billion...
The unique database contains over 3 million pre-populated scholar profiles, drawing from Community of Scholars and Community of Science profiles. Its proprietary algorithm compiles pre-populated researcher profiles unique to Vanderbilt (and others) and matches them to current funding opportunities in the expansive COS database.
