Research Enterprise Newsletter - September 2008: IRB News

In-Service Requests

Do you or your department have specific questions about human subjects research? Perhaps there are common areas that you struggle with on a regular basis. Have no fear... the IRB will come to you and help with your concerns and educational needs!! At any time, you are welcome to request an in-service session from the IRB for your department, class, etc. Our request form has a number of topics to choose from, but you're more than welcome to request something specific to fit your needs. You can find the in-service request by clicking on the link above or by visiting the IRB home page at mc.vanderbilt.edu/irb/ and clicking on the "Education" heading and then the "In-Service" link.

Research Subjects Bill of Rights

If you or a member of your family were asked to participate in a research study, would you know your rights as a research volunteer or what questions to ask before you agree to enroll? For more information about study participation and your rights, please visit the IRB Web site.
