CORE offers "conversations" on scholarship in medical education
The Center for Outcomes Research in Education (CORE) is sponsoring a "conversations" forum where faculty can both receive and contribute to:
- Suggestions for research designs
- Advice about statistical techniques
- Overviews of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Advice about outcomes and their measurement
- Comments on drafts of manuscripts
- Suggestions for journals
- Resources for additional learning about research in medical education
Participants will drive the agenda for each session. Faculty may suggest a topic or request time on the event RSVP form. Lunch is provided for RSVPs, but all are welcome. Conversations are scheduled on the fourth Monday of each month from 12:00PM-1:00PM in room 306 A&B of Light Hall.

The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) is offering Weekly Skills Workshops every Friday from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the GCRC conference room, A-3210 MCN.
