Fred Guengerich publication is JBC Paper of the Week

Dr. Fred Guengerich's recent publication "Hydrogen bonding of 7,8-dihydro-8-oxodeoxyguanosine with a charged residue in the little finger domain determines miscoding events in sulfolobus solfataricus DNA polymerase Dpo4," has been selected as a Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) Paper of the Week- a feature of JBC Online. JBC's Editorial Board members and Associate Editors select papers that rank in the top 1% of papers they review in a year in significance and overall importance. Once selected, the paper is highlighted in the Table of Contents (TOC) of the issue of JBC Online in which it appears.

Jack Roberts receives alumni award

On June 7-8, Dr. Jack Roberts is traveling to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, where he will receive their Distinguished Alumni Award.
