March CME on communicating adverse outcomes

The Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy at Vanderbilt will offer the continuing education activity "The How and When of Communicating Adverse Outcomes and Errors," March 19-20 at the Student Life Center. This course will focus on how to handle challenges when confronted with situations where adverse events or errors occur, and will interest leaders in medicine, nursing, risk management and patient safety. CME and Nursing CE credits available. All clinical specialties are welcome.   • Clinical Research Immersion Boot Camp

    Research Orientation Program. This program provides fundamental information to support the development of skills and competencies essential to good clinical research practice. Participants may take the Purple shuttle from the MCN roundwing entrance to 2525 West End. This session is approved for IRB education credit. Lunch will be provided.

The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) is offering Weekly Skills Workshops every Friday from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the GCRC conference room, A-3210 MCN.
