Transgenic Mouse / ES Cell Shared Resource

The Transgenic Mouse / ES Cell Shared Resource provides services essential for the generation of new germline-altered mice such as gene targeting in mouse ES cells, pronuclear DNA microinjections, ES cell microinjection into blastocysts, assisted reproduction, and embryo/germ cell cryopreservation and storage. With more than 40 years of collective experience in the generation of transgenic and knockout animals, the staff of this resource is able to assist qualified investigators in the generation of sophisticated mouse models for experimental use. In addition, scientific guidance may be obtained from three Scientific Co-Directors, either on a fee-for-service or collaborative basis, depending on the nature and extent of involvement that is necessary.
