Investigational Drug Service

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Pharmaceutical Services includes an Investigational Drug Service (IDS). The IDS provides the following services:

• Assistance to investigators in accomplishing drug-related research goals
• Maintenance of VUMC compliance with related FDA and Institutional Review Board regulations
• Assistance to VUMC in meeting the standards of the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) and all applicable federal, and state regulations
