Flow Cytometry & Human Immunology Core

The Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Core offers state-of-the-art analytical and sorting flow cytometry. It also provides training in sample preparation, data acquisition and analysis, and offers walk-up workstations with an array of software platforms. The Core has six cytometers: A BD FACSAria sorter capable of 11-color, single cell, four-way, or bulk sorting; a five laser custom BD LSRII for multicolor analysis; a four laser LSRII for 17-color analysis; a three laser LSRII available for unassisted use; a three-color FACScan analyzer; and a Guava cytometer for cell counts and viability. A seventh cytometer is available for biohazardous sorting. Two of the cytometers have 96-well automated loaders. The Core also has automated ELISPOT reading services using a CTL ELISPOT reader.
