CFAR - Immunopathogenesis Core
The Vanderbilt-Meharry Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Immunopathogenesis Core houses a cell sorter and laser confocal microscope in a BSL3 facility, allowing for the study of biohazardous or infectious samples.
- Becton Dickinson FACSAria flow cytometer A three laser (407,488,633) cytometer capable of nine color fluorescence analysis and four-way sterile sorting for bulk collection of purified cell populations or single cell deposition for subcloning.
- Perkin Elmer LCI Confocal microscope A three laser (488,567,633) fluorescent inverted confocal microscope with an environmental chamber for live cell imaging.
