OLLI Book Club  - This group will be led by Kay Simmons.  The group will be meeting the first Monday of each month at the Vanderbilt Barnes and Noble from 12-1 pm

The group will not read a book in December, but instead, give each other a holiday present by bringing a list of books that are your favorites in January.

On Monday, February 2, the group will discuss the true story by Hector Tobar entitled "The Untold Stories of 33 Men Buried in a Chillean Mine and the Miracle That Set Them Free." This book is based on the San Jose' mine that collapsed outside of Copiapo', Chile in August of 2010 trapping thirty-three miners beneath thousands of feet of rock for a record  breaking sixty nine days.  The entire world watched what transpired above-ground during the grueling and protracted rescue, but the saga of the miners' experiences below the Earth's surface—and the lives that led them there—has never been heard until now.

Next Book Club selections will be:
March 2nd:  All the Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr
April 6th:  Boys in the Boat, by Daniel James Brown
May 4th:  Caught:  The Prison State and the Lockdown of American Politics, by Marie Gottschalk
