VUMix (Mixed Heritage Association)

VUMix, also known as VUMixed Heritage Exchange, is a brand new student group started during the spring 2011 semester as a KLICK (Kissam Learning Initiative in Collaborative Knowledge) Project. We are an organization dedicated to serving the unique needs of the mixed community at Vanderbilt.

This includes, but is not limited to, those students who self-identify as Biracial, Multiracial, Multiethnic, Transracial adoptee, Third Culture Kid, Multicultural, Mixed Race, Mestizo, Hapa, International, Other, etc. Our goal is to promote awareness about the mixed community by bringing together individuals who identify with and/or are interested in learning about the “mixed experience.” All students are welcome to join.
