Seeking Assistance

Each school provides assistance with OAK for their faculty/staff; support for students varies by school. Find your local support provider.

Common Problems

-- You just created your VUnet ID and can access your Vanderbilt email, but cannot log in to OAK.
The information can take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout all systems. Wait 24 hours before seeking assistance.

-- You have been able to login to OAK, but access in now denied.
A change in your SSN or last name will cause this. Contact oak@vanderbilt.edu for assistance.

When viewing the tutorials, be advised that not all functionality currently exists in Vanderbilt's implementation of Blackboard; Vanderbilt is currently running the Blackboard Learning System, Release 8.0.
