Be part of the most exciting 4 days in politics!
Info Session: November 10th
5-6pm in the Community Partnership House
The Iowa Caucus Rolling Seminar is an expedition to observe and participate in democracy in action. The caucuses occur once every four years and this election-year is already of great historical significance. This year, the Iowa Caucus will take place on January 3, 2012.
On December 31, approximately 20 Vanderbilt students will travel to Des Moines, IA to attend political rallies, volunteer on candidate campaigns, observe the Republican caucuses, and attend post-caucus candidate parties. We will return to campus on January 4, 2012.
This Rolling Seminar is sure to be an intense experience with long trips, late nights, cold weather, and the overwhelming energy filling the streets as we await the “First in the Nation” results and potential presidential candidate for the 2012 general election.
Program dates: Dec. 31, 2011 (depart campus at 9am) – Jan. 4, 2012 (return to campus at 10pm)
