How to Apply for VIEW

Turn in your complete application to OACS by Wednesday, November 14th, 2012.

Your application file will include:

1. Complete the VIEW 2013 Application
2. One-page essay

3. Current resume (go to the Career Center for guidance)

4. General cover letter

5. Official transcripts

6. Two letters of recommendation (from professional sources)

7. Application fee – $50 non-refundable

8. *Financial Aid application (optional) must be turned in with other application material

9. Commitment to Citizenship & Service (350 words or less, found within application outline)

VIEW - program facts

• Internship Dates: Saturday, June 1st – Saturday, July 27th, 2013
• VIEW Program Fee:  $4,250 – official costs are currently under evaluation

Program Attendance Requirements:

• Spring Semester Washington Seminar – a bi-weekly commitment to prepare students for work & life in DC, and optimizing the experience
• Summer weekly programming & events - includes interesting seminars, group reflections, networking opportunities, unique DC events, and social programs with DC Vanderbilt alumni
