PREP: preparing for leadership and service in a diverse society

PREP is a collaboration between the Office of
Leadership Development and Intercultural Affairs and the Office of Active Citizenship and Service.

prep program structure:

Fall 2012
•   8-10 training seminars (offered Wednesdays 5:30-7:30)

•   1-2 professional development workshops
•   1 service-internship placement fair

Spring 2013
•   Complete minimum of 60 hours at service

internship site (average of 4-6 hours/week)
•   Meet with mentor minimum of 4 times
•   Submit 10 weekly online journal reflections
responding to prompts from PREP staff
•   Attend 3 monthly dinner discussions

*applications due in the spring for PREP’s fall start
