The Center for Health Services has served disadvantaged communities in the Southeast since 1972.

The Center is a group of community outreach projects whose goal is to support people working at the grassroots level to take control of their physical, social, political, and environmental health. Through programs ranging in focus from maternal-infant health to children's nutrition, the CHS spearheads community health on all levels.
