VIEW Application Deadline Briefly Extended to November 18th

*Due to high interest but a relatively short initial application period, the deadline to apply for the VIEW Program has been extended to:

November 18^th, 2011 at Midnight.

The VIEW Program offers competitive 8-week, full-time internship opportunities to undergraduate students from all majors.  VIEW participants will live with 20 other Vanderbilt students in fully furnished apartments, receive an unlimited Metro pass for travel each week, participate in a weekly seminar program, and are also paired with a Vanderbilt alum living in DC to enhance networking, personal, and professional support while soaking up our nation’s capital in June and July.

Summer internships include positions on Capitol Hill, various policy organizations, embassies, law firms, nonprofits, and media organizations.  Students will work all over the city independently, but will also have the benefit of a unique Vanderbilt community to explore and experience all DC has to offer, as well as digest complex political issues and organizational behavior together.  Additionally, several exciting guest speakers will enhance the supplemental programming offered by VIEW.
