Mission Statement
The Election Alliance is a non-partisan consortium of civic-minded student organizations who have come together to cultivate a politically informed and energized campus community. We work collaboratively to,
- Increase voter registration and turn-out
- To cultivate interest and awareness of political issues and candidate
- To empower students and Nashville citizens to be active citizens leading up to the 2008 presidential election and beyond.

Election Alliance Subcommittees
The specific subcommittees supported and fueled by the Election Alliance include:
- Issue Awareness - Promoting communication from diverse political perspectives on important issues
- Debates - Increasing participation and discussion about the presidential debates on campus
- Voter Registration - Working to register students to vote and assisting them in the voting process
- Election-Day Events - Organizing full-day events surrounding the primary election and general election
