It's Employee Celebration Month time and one of the signature events of the month is the Employee Tailgate.  We need several folks volunteering in order to make this event a success.  If you are available to help, here are the details for Tailgate 2008.

What:  Annual Employee Tailgate 2008 - the game will be against Rice with kickoff at 6 p.m.

When:  Saturday, Sept. 13 from 3 – 5  p.m.

Where:   Rob Roy Purdy Field (NEW SITE) adjacent to Student Recreation Center on 25th Ave. S.

We need volunteers to help in the following areas:
o       Gate Check-In - Volunteers to check Vanderbilt IDs and count those entering.
o       Ticket Distribution - Distribute game tickets, working from spreadsheet of orders
o       Face Painting - Paint faces, put on washable tattoos
o       Food & Drink Area - Monitor food and drink lines
o       Games - Maintain lines and safety in this area
o       Photo Area - Take Polaroid photos, affix labels to pictures

We need volunteers to commit to at least a one hour shift, either 3-4 p.m. or 4-5 p.m.  If you are unable to volunteer during the event but can spare an hour earlier in the day, we would welcome a few volunteers for set-up that morning starting at 11 a.m.

If you're interested in volunteering please contact Midori Lockett, event manager at tailgate@vanderbilt.edu and copy Seretha Nobbin, Tailgate volunteer coordinator at seretha.nobbin@vanderbilt.edu  for addtional information.
