All standard business cards and letterhead are already printed on a recycled stock or paper made from renewable resources. For custom print jobs, simply discuss green options when you place the order.
The Vanderbilt View, the VUMC Reporter, House Organ and InnerVU (newsletter for students in the residence halls) are printed on recycled stock or paper made from renewable resources.
In addition, Vanderbilt Printing Services has been recycling nearly all of the waste generated in our production facility since 1989. In 2007, we received a certificate of recognition for our recycling efforts, which saved 1,392 trees by reprocessing our recycled materials.
We are proud to work with manufacturers who have strong economic, environmental, and social commitments. The majority of our major paper vendors, as well as paper mills, have their Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody (CoC) certifications; Vanderbilt Printing Services stocks and encourages the use of recycled paper from such vendors.
