Ashley Crownover, the program administrator for Vanderbilts American Studies and Film Studies, recently published Wealthow: Her Telling of Beowulf. In her book, the classic tale of Beowulf is retold from the perspective of Wealtheow, Queen of the Danes, providing a woman's perspective on the issues facing her people and raising intriguing literary questions in a readable, modern writing style.

Crownover will sign copies of her book at Davis-Kidd Booksellers on Tuesday, July 29 at 7 p.m.
