The Meeting

What would have happened if Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King had met before they were assassinated just three years apart? This intriguing idea is the subject of the critically-acclaimed play, The Meeting. A powerful drama about the lives, philosophies, and times of these two leaders, The Meeting was written by Jeff Stetson and has received a Louis B. Mayer Award, eight NAACP Theatre Awards and six New York AUDELCO nominations.

Performed at Vanderbilt as part of the 2000 MLK Commemorative Series.
