Professor Arleen Tuchman featured on Foundation website

Arleen Tuchman is a specialist in the history of science and medicine in the United States and Europe. In addition to being a Professor of History at Vanderbilt, Dr. Tuchman served as Director for the Center for Medicine, Health, and Society from 2006-2009.

Recently, Dr. Tuchman was featured in an article on the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation website entitled, “Vanderbilt Redefines Pre-Med Education.” In this article, Dr. Tuchman describes the innovative and forward-thinking MHS undergraduate program at Vanderbilt and how the interdisciplinary curriculum characteristic of this program is educating a new generation of future health professionals.
