MHS FLiCX war film screenings at the Belcourt

As part of the Belcourt Theater’s winter series of past Academy Award winners, MHS faculty member Ken MacLeish, in conjunction with the Dean of Students Office’s FLiCX program, will be leading audience discussions at upcoming screenings of two milestone war films, All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) and The Deer Hunter (1978).

 

Admission to FLiCX events is free for students, but you must register in advance at https://sitemason.vanderbilt.edu/form/dycUFi Make sure you choose the appropriate film. You can pick up your ticket between 11:15 and 11:45 the day of in the lobby of the Belcourt Theater from the FLiCX program director. Feel free to bring friends and spread the word. It’s a rare opportunity to see these iconic films on a big screen.
