This page is meant to be used as a reference for students in MATH 218L during the Fall 2013 semester. There is no assigned textbook for the course. Labs and other supplementary material will be posted on this website, as well as on OAK.
Here is a rough version of the syllabus that has not been completely updated, but will be closer to the start of the semester. Also, there is a sheet outlining the expectations for homework submissions. It will also be updated closer to the start of the semester.
We will be writing our programs in the R programming language. The following is a link to the page where you can download R, and a PDF file that contains instructions for downloading R on your own computer should you choose to. Most of the download is self explanatory. You should have plenty of time to access the computer lab if you do not want to use R on your computer.
The following are some references for R.
