Mission
The Vanderbilt University Mail Service Department provides delivery of United States Mail and Campus Mail to the majority of Vanderbilt offices and provides metering functions for the administrative departments.
The Campus Mail Services consists of three (3) units: Kirkland Hall, Peabody Distribution Center, and Station B Post office. Station B operates as a full service mailroom. However, the other two mailrooms are distribution centers for the pickup and delivery of Campus and U.S. mail only.
The specific services of the two mailrooms and Station B post office:
- Pickup and delivery of U.S. and campus mail
- Sorting and metering functions of U.S mail
- Operation of the Station B Contract Station Post Office
- Special pickups
- Consultation services
