Contract Stations

The Vanderbilt Mail Service Department operates a contract postal unitin the basement of Rand Hall to handle special service mail and for the convenience of Vanderbilt employees and students. All postal supplies such as envelopes, post cards and custom forms may be purchased. Personal or Vanderbilt mail may be insured, certified, or registered through this station. Money orders may also be purchased at these contract stations during the following time frames: Station B- is open daily from 8:00-a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Money orders may be purchased until 2:45 Mon-Fri.

Contract Stations

The outgoing mailroom sorts, weighs, and meters outgoing U.S. mail for any Vanderbilt unit. Usually mail received in the university mailroom before 3:30 p.m. is metered and forwarded to the U.S.P.S. the same day. Outgoing U.S. stamped and metered mail is picked up by the U.S.P.S. at 4pm daily m-f. The last mail at Peabody is 2:30pm
