What a wonderful piece. The only person I have ever known with as much charm and grace as Mary Taylor was... her mother.

Oh, Mary! How perfectly such a brief article has captured the essence of such a wonderful, remarkable person. I have long said the same thing the article does, that you are the personification of Vanderbilt University. (I've said to many that you and Mr. Beasley are the counterpart personifications of our great institution. I think each of you is in very good company.) Knowing you these many years has been one of the sweetest gifts I have ever received. You warm and brighten me every time I see you. I know you do the same for countless others.

P.S. Find any mistakes? :)

Mrs. Taylor was the first person I met when I interviewed here years ago. Since that time, I've been blessed to speak with her on numerous occasions. She is such a joy and a gem, one of the most valuable assets of our institution. Indeed, she personifies Southern hospitality, charm, and grace. Miss Mary, it's pleasure whenever we speak!

Mary McClure Taylor, what a gem you are! Mary needs to plan to never leave, as I cannot imagine Vanderbilt - especially Kirkland Hall - without her. She has lived a lot of Vanderbilt history, and she LOVES our students! Pride in Vanderbilt and our wonderful students oozes from her every pore! Its a mutual admiration society, though, because everyone who is lucky enough to be assisted by Mary soon realizes they are the better for having met her. Mary, you are wonderful!
