LSI Media Awards
LSI media projects have garnered a number of awards this year. The LSI website received a Platinum rating from the 2007 Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition recognizing outstanding print, online, and video communication projects. Eye on the LSI, our quarterly publication (no longer in publication), won Gold in that competition.
Two documentaries produced by LSI videographer Lyle Jackson have also been recognized: The Learning Sciences: Innovation in Understanding, a 16-minute film exploring the burgeoning field of learning sciences, received both a 2007 Telly Award and a 2007 Communicator Award. The 6-minute Vanderbilt Summer Scholar Identity Institute won a 2007 Videographer Award.
