CURRENT RESEARCH TOPIC/ FIELD-BASED PROJECT

Project: Continued follow-up and analysis of a randomized trial of 9th-grade biology students to assess the effectiveness of a curricular intervention in enhancing student motivation and achievement. Principal Investigator: Chris Hulleman

Project: Continued analysis and writing of two experimental studies to assess the effectiveness of a curricular intervention in enhancing student motivation and performance. Principal Investigator: Chris Hulleman

Project: In an attempt to better understand why educational interventions have their effects, we are developing guidelines for the usage of mediational analyses within data sets that are hierarchically structured (i.e., students nested within classrooms and schools). Using this methodology allows us to understand how an intervention may indirectly impact educational outcomes through mediational processes. Principal Investigators: Chris Hulleman and David Cordray

Project: Development of a scale to assess emotion regulation in college students and student-athletes, and assessing the relationship of emotion regulation to academic and athletic success. Principal Investigator: Chris Hulleman
