Research Topic: Project Write — This project is a randomized field trial studying the impact of Self Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) on the writing development and behavior of 2nd grade students who are at risk for serious behavior disorders.

Research Topic: Conduct a meta-analysis of experimental studies with school age students examining the influence of writing instruction on reading outcomes, the impact of reading instruction on writing outcomes, as well as the effects of combined reading/writing instruction on both reading and writing outcomes. This review is designed to explore if reading instruction enhances writing and vice versa as well as the power of integrated reading/writing programs on literacy development.
