New this fall, LGBTQI Life’s Family Dinner program will provide an opportunity for small groups of LGBTQI and allied students to be matched with LGBTQI and allied faculty and staff in order to have a “family dinner”. The dinners – which can happen in the mentor’s home or preferred restaurant – are meant to provide an opportunity to build community and develop informal mentoring relationships. Through this program, LGBTQI and allied students will be offered an additional way to find role models and gain support.
Students attend the dinner in small groups (2-4 people). Your Family Dinner host will contact you a few days before the date to notify you of the time of your dinner and to arrange transportation and other details.
A chosen day during the month of October or November for the fall term and February or March for the spring term. Exact dates included on the sign up forms.
