Your Guide to Culturally Aware Leadership

The North Star is used as a navigational tool for people across the globe. At Vanderbilt, LDIA utilizes the North Star as a constant guide for cultural awareness through leadership. The North Star Leadership Series allows Vanderbilt students to discover the opportunities and challenges of leading diverse groups in this millenium. Throughout the year, LDIA will present a variety of events that will challenge student’s notions of culture and humanity.

Founded in December 1994, the company is critically-acclaimed for its efforts to promote an understanding of and appreciation for stepping…Based in Washington, DC, the company has been featured on CNN, BET, PBS & NPR as well as numerous books, documentaries and articles that seek to explore the tradition of stepping.
