Collegiate Leadership Summit

The annual Collegiate Leadership Summit (CLS) is a one-day conference for students from regional colleges and universities. The purpose of CLS is to bring together students from across Tennessee together to learn about leadership. Administrators from Vanderbilt, Austin Peay State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, Motlow State Community College, and Volunteer State Community College plan this annual event.

Conference presentations focus on the concepts and techniques that characterize effective leadership. The format is structured to encourage students from different institutions to network, interact, and learn from one another. Students explore leadership through a panel of speakers, breakout sessions, and presentations by their peers.
CLS usually takes place in the spring semester and rotates between the planning committee’s campuses. Interested students should contact the Office of Leadership Development and Intercultural Affairs for more information; sponsorships are available to cover the cost of registration.
