Leadership Odyssey

Leadership Odyssey engages 30 new incoming students in problem-solving and team-building exercises designed to develop collaborative and individual leadership skills. Participants make daily trips to campus to meet leaders from Vanderbilt’s student organizations, administration, faculty and staff and explore the campus community. Students become familiar with a range of issues and challenges facing today’s leaders and then work on group projects to address these issues. The program also provides early networking opportunities with new friends who aspire to assume leadership roles within the Vanderbilt community and beyond. Previous program participants have become leaders in several student organizations on campus including student government, student activities board, and various volunteer organizations.
