The Office of Honor Scholarships is pleased to announce the Vanderbilt students who have received
national recognition in the Fulbright, Udall, USA Today, and Gates-Cambridge Scholarship competitions.
Students selected for these awards are chosen for their potential to become leaders and visionaries in
science, government, education, and the arts. While a candidate’s past accomplishments earn an invitation
to the competition, and a promise of guidance through a process that most find extremely valuable, these
fellowship programs are not rewards for what has been achieved; but are investments in what the recipient
