LAPOP has an agreement with the University of Pittsburgh to provide access to the data sets. Students and faculty at this institution may now access the data obtained under this agreement through Prof. Barry Ames without having to resort to contacting LAPOP. The agreement provides that the protection of human subjects for these deidentified data sets is under the control and supervision of the University of Pittsburgh Institutional Review Board.
