If you have been asked to review a manuscript, we request that you get it to us within one month after you receive the manuscript. You can return your review in any of several forms:

We prefer that you e-mail the review to us. Our e-mail address is jop@vanderbilt.edu. You can include your review in the text of a message, or attach it as a separate file (PDF, WordPerfect, or MS Word files are preferred). In any case, please be sure that you include the manuscript title, manuscript number, and your reviewer number in your review.

You can also fax the review back to us. The fax number for The Journal of Politics is: (615) 343-0871. You only need to fax a single copy of your review, but we do prefer that you use the manuscript evaluation form. You can download a copy of the form by clicking here.
