Social Security Shuttles

Thursdays: Jul 26, Aug 2, Aug 9, Aug 23, Aug 30 (bus will leave at 8 am); Student Life Center Driveway on 25th Avenue

If you will be working on-campus and do not have a Social Security Number, ISSS will provide shuttles to the Social Security Administration office. Please stop by ISSS to sign up for a shuttle spot.

Making Connections: Navigating Your New “Social Network”

Making new friends from different cultural backgrounds can be a challenge. This workshop will guide you through some different communication styles and friendship patterns that you may encounter in your new home. Look forward to tips from current students on their adjustment process.

Welcome to Nashville Fair

Monday, Aug 27 – 3 to 6 PM – Student Life Center Ballroom

This event will provide new and returning students with information about life beyond the “Vanderbubble.” Local and national businesses participating in the event will provide giveaways, door prizes, coupons, and more.  A detailed list of all exhibitors involved will be published in the Hustler student newspaper known as the “Welcome to Nashville” issue.

Nashville Bus Tour

Saturday, Sep 1 – 11 AM to 5 PM – depart from Student Life Center Driveway on 25^th Avenue

An Orientation tradition! This popular, annual tour takes you through several hotspots in Nashville! Come to ISSS to buy your tickets. You must pay in full to reserve your seat on the bus. Hurry! Seats are limited!

First Friends Match Day Picnic
