Making new friends from different cultural backgrounds can be a challenge. This workshop will guide you through some different communication styles and friendship patterns that you may encounter in your new home. Look forward to tips from current students on their adjustment process.

Nashville Bus Tour

11:00 am-5:00 pm, depart from ISSS Office at the Student Life Center

An Orientation tradition! This popular, annual tour takes you through several hotspots in Nashville! Come to ISSS to buy your tickets. You must pay in full to reserve your seat on the bus. Hurry! Seats are limited! Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids.

ISSS invites all spouses and partners of international students & scholars to attend this welcoming program.  It is a great opportunity to meet ISSS staff and other spouses & partners of Vanderbilt students and scholars. Learn about available resources from campus and community partners.
